I’m Marnie Hill, a Christian author whose life has been radically transformed and redeemed by Jesus Christ. Everything I write flows from one purpose: to bear witness to His mercy and to help others return to the heart of God.
I do not speak as someone who has arrived, but as a woman still praying, learning, and being formed daily by the Lord.
In early 2025, I entered a much-needed sabbatical from mediumship and psychic services. In silence and prayer, the Holy Spirit began uncovering truths I could no longer ignore — truths I now share not to persuade or argue, but to inform and to bear witness.
For nearly two decades, I was publicly known as one of Canada’s leading mediums and angel communicators. Today, by God’s mercy alone, I stand as a former medium and psychic, fully turned toward Jesus Christ. Out of obedience to Him and love for others, I no longer support or offer any of the spiritual services I once practiced.
My intentions during those years were sincere, but sincerity does not equal truth. A series of deeply unsettling spiritual experiences compelled me to step back, withdraw from public work, and seek clarity through prayer. It was in that quiet turning away — and through repentance, Scripture, and a return to the teaching authority of the Church — that I came to understand a painful but necessary reality:
The dead do not speak to the living — not in the way people are often led to believe.
What can present itself as a message from a loved one can be a spiritual imitation — a deception that appears as light while subtly drawing hearts away from God’s truth. Through lived experience, prayer, and discernment informed by the Church, I came to recognize that no matter how comforting, convincing, or “healing” such encounters may seem, they do not come from God.
I am fully aware that many people do not want to hear this.
In fact, the world often resists it.
But resistance does not change reality.
What people may be encountering are spiritual deceptions that imitate the departed — experiences that can feel deeply personal and persuasive, yet ultimately lead away from Christ rather than toward Him.
I do not write to win agreement; I write to tell the truth as I have come to understand it. Mediumship, psychic readings, angel communication, channelling, energy work, and divination are not gifts of the Holy Spirit. They are spiritual openings — doors I once walked through unknowingly — and doors the Church, in her wisdom, warns us against.
While many would prefer I remain silent about what I witnessed, endured, and later discerned, I cannot. If I do not speak openly about what God delivered me from, someone searching for truth may never realize that freedom is possible.
I speak because souls matter.
I speak because God’s mercy deserves to be proclaimed.
I speak because remaining silent would betray the redemption I have received.
I know that sharing these truths invites resistance. But obedience is greater than fear, and truth is greater than public opinion. What God has brought me out of, I will not hide. What He has restored, I will not minimize. What He has revealed, I will not bury.
My story is not a condemnation — it is a testimony.
A testimony to the God who rescues, restores, and leads us out of darkness and into His marvellous light.
True peace is not found in spiritual techniques.
True peace is a Person: Jesus Christ — encountered through Scripture, prayer, and the sacramental life of the Church.
This testimony is offered in humility and obedience, always subject to Sacred Scripture and the teaching authority of the Church.

I want to be clear about my role. I do not teach Catholicism, and I am not a theologian, lay minister, or member of the clergy. I am simply a woman who has walked through spiritual darkness and, by God’s mercy, was led into the light of Jesus Christ through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
For many years, I have walked alongside others during some of life’s most difficult seasons. Through prayer, reflection, and lived experience, I have learned that lasting peace and genuine healing are not found in the world’s answers, but in Christ alone. I write from what I have lived, what I have discerned, and what I have found to bear good fruit when grounded in Scripture, prayer, and the wisdom of the Church.
My writing is offered as testimony and encouragement — not instruction or authority — and is always meant to point hearts back to Jesus, where true healing and clarity are found.
